This post by Simon Willison inspired me to create a link blog.

I have long struggled with keeping track of interesting things I’ve read. There are so many open tabs in my browser of things I plan to read or do something about, but haven’t gotten around to. I used to save things to Pocket, but Mozilla just announced Pocket is saying goodbye¹ so it got me thinking.

I like the idea of having a place to document my thoughts with some commentary for my future self. If it’s of interest to others, even better!

The value is in writing frequently and having something to show for it over time—worthwhile even if you don’t attract much of an audience (or any audience at all).

So let this mark the beginning of my link blog – a collection of things I want to share and remember.
